Frank

Before

After

Because Frank had regularly seen a dentist throughout his adult life, he had good oral health. However, he had many old fillings that were staining and leaking on his front teeth. In addition, his teeth were beginning to crack and break, requiring crowns. Frank’s discolored and “restored” teeth made him look much older than his actual age.

Frank decided to do something about his appearance since his son was getting married — he wanted a beautiful smile for the event and for the photos. He was very concerned about the appearance of all of the teeth, uppers and lowers, that showed when he smiled and insisted on veneers for the maxillary (or upper) arch.

Dr. Smith applied 10 Empress cosmetic veneers across Frank’s maxillary arch. The veneers covered his stained teeth and fillings while also providing stability. For Frank’s bottom teeth, Dr. Smith applied six Feldspathic porcelain veneers, which are extremely thin (and conserve more tooth), giving Frank a lovely finish. Both Empress and Feldspathic porcelain veneers offer durability and stability for years – something composite veneers can’t provide. Frank is thrilled with his new smile and smiled “big” for his son’s wedding photos.
