Dr. Smith will consult with you to learn more about you. This initial consultation also includes viewing your teeth and determining which procedure is best for your situation. Dr. Smith uses the latest in computer imaging technology to show you the results of your procedure before she actually begins any work. From there, each procedure requires customization. For example, if you are getting veneers, she will take impressions.
Yes, your new smile will look completely natural. Many of our clients have told us that people often ask, “Did you get a haircut?” “Have you lost weight?” They know something is different but can’t tell what it is.
Depending on the procedure, treatment time can vary from one office visit to several weeks.
You can get two types of veneers: composite or porcelain. Composite veneers are typically applied in one office visit; because they aren’t as durable as porcelain veneers, they do tend to break easily. Please see our Frequently Asked Questions about Dental Veneers page for more information about dental veneers.
Dental implants, such as Nobel Biocare and 3i dental implants, replace teeth that are congenitally missing or have been lost due to injury or disease, and closely reproduce the structure of your natural teeth. Please view our Frequently Asked Questions About Dental Implants page for additional information.
Full mouth dental restoration, (also known as full mouth dental rehabilitation or full mouth reconstruction), is the process of restoring the correct relationship between the teeth, gums, jaw and facial muscles to address extensive dental problems.
Full mouth dental restoration may involve a combination of dental implants and/or bridges, bone grafting, crowns and veneers and can address a multitude of complex dental problems, from lost and missing teeth, to problems with the entire neuromuscular system, which includes the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), blood vessels, and muscles used to chew. Please see our Frequently Asked Questions about Full Mouth Reconstruction page for additional information.
